Three accused, including the leader of a gang that cyber-frauded people through Mahadev Batting App, have been arrested. The accused have so far defrauded one crore rupees. The accused were opening their call center in a flat in Delhi. Sitting here, he was committing cyber fraud by calling people across the country.
When the police team started investigating the cyber fraud that happened with a girl in Rampur, the cyber thugs were caught. Due to which during interrogation it was revealed that the accused also commit fraud through Mahadevi Batting App. SP Crime Subhash Chandra Gangwar said that Divya, a resident of Rampur Milak, had filed a case in the cyber crime police station.
In which he told that through Instagram, cyber thugs got him to open an ID in the name of investment and defrauded him of Rs 8 lakh 50 thousand. Police started investigating this matter. Through call details and bank account IDs, police caught Alok Kumar Jha, resident of Mahavir Enclave Palam Shiv Shakti Apartment in Dabri police station area of New Delhi.
After this, Nitin Nirman, resident of Baljeet Nagar, Patel Nagar police station area of Karol Bagh, New Delhi and Sonu Kumar alias Math, resident of Nitin Nirman, have been arrested. Police have recovered seven mobiles, two laptops and one SIM from the accused.
The accused had kept the call center call in the apartment itself in Delhi. Sitting here, they used to transfer money to people across the country on the pretext of making huge profits by making investments. Apart from this, Mahadev also used to cheat people through betting app. On Tuesday evening, the police presented all three in the court, from where both of them were sent to jail.
